Description: This shockingly special dry white from Tokaj is Szamarodni, a rare style made from whole clusters that are partially affected by botrytis, or noble rot. Normally berries are hand-selected and used for Tokaji Aszù, but winemaker Fanni Kertje chose to make a dry wine from whole bunches. When he died after bottling the 2001 vintage, these forgotten wines continued to age an amazing 17 years. Ethereal notes of preserved fruits, exotic spices, and flowers.
