Description: A blend of indigenous red grapes grown on clay and limestone soils by the Ippolito family. The wine is aged in both large used oak botte and again in bottle prior to release. Full bodied, earthy and smoky yet somehow lively at the same time. Great for red meat, sausage or hearty pastas.
