Description: Cahors is the historic home of Malbec (or Côt), now better known in Argentina. Called "vin noir," or black wine, due to its inky color, this traditional wine has been made in the region for centuries. Clos la Coutale is one of the region's oldest estates, pre-dating the French Revolution. Dark fruit is layered with a dusty earthiness. A classic pairing is Cahors' specialty: duck!
